Mike Shynes is probably one of the coolest and most talented musicians you'll ever meet.  I met him several years ago when a band he was in at the time played with a band I was in at the time, and since then his path through music has led him through working with several bands and playing shows on all different levels.  His most recent project is a solo project under the name Seconds Before Sleep, and I was thrilled when he asked me to take some shots for his new website.  Below are a few images from the shoot, that you can also find on his homepage.

Senior shoot round two with Jenn!  We did a bit of exploration, there were a few areas I had driven through awhile ago but never have actually the time to go explore further.  We had a good chunk of the day for shooting so we decided to go see what we could find.  After a quick lunch at Annie's Parlour we walked around the U of M campus for awhile for a few final images for the afternoon. All in all, it was a good time as always.  Posting these photos definitely makes me miss the nice weather though!

  

This happened to be my first engagement shoot of the summer, and I think if it's any indication of how the rest of the year is going to go I'm SO EXCITED to finally be done with school so that I can focus on photography.  

Dain and Jessica were so laid back and fun to work with!  We started the day off with a bit of fishing, unfortunately I had forgotten my pole.  But Jess and Dain were able to take care of the fish (with a total of 4 or 5 HUGE fish [I think one of them may have actually broken an ounce]).  After fishing and despite this ridiculously hot May heat, we did a bit of exploring in a few of the gorgeous wooded areas that Eagan has to offer and found some awesome shooting locations. I'm so happy for these two, they are absolutely perfect for eachother, which always seems to make my job almost too easy!
